Free BAME Young People Together for Employment Rights Workshops

ROTA in collaboration with BTEG and CSO is hosting two workshops for young people and employment Law and rights.

The two-part interactive workshop is for young people from BAME and migrant backgrounds on employment rights and the importance of collective action to challenge workplace discrimination and exploitation. It aims to address the knowledge-gap created by increasingly complex and exploitative employment practices and to empower participants to politically engage with these issues through community collective action. The workshops will be run in collaboration with the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Unite Community Action and will feature analyses and simulations of the most recent employment disputes impacting BAME and Migrant communities in London.
